A Journey Begins

A rough title screen for the demo of Hostage

After years of ruminating on the idea, and months of planning, I realize there’s not much more I can plan.

I need to do.

So here begins the start of Hostage - a horror RPG.

Today has been spent visualizing the title screen and slapping that bad boy in Unity.

It’s been a long time since I’ve worked in Unity. I need to reacquaint.

But it’s begun.

Hostage has begun.

It aims to answer one question…

Do we shape our surroundings? Or are we shaped by them?

 

Developer’s Personal Note:

Today I’m embarking on…something.

A journey destined to fail.

A scope too big.

I don’t know.

I am one who gives up easily.

Paralyzed by threat of failure.

I’ll avoid holding myself back, at least for today.
